The Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography (JASE) is pleased to announce a Call for Papers for a Focus Issue on the Right Heart and Pulmonary Hypertension for publication in early 2025. The issue will include ASE’s new guidelines on the right heart and pulmonary hypertension.
We invite submission of original research studies, reviews, letters, and brief research communications that address any aspect of echocardiography in assessment of the right heart or pulmonary hypertension. For example,
- Application of quantitative echocardiography, including multidimensional or strain rate imaging, to the right heart
- Echocardiographic assessment of diseases impacting the right heart, including pulmonary hypertension
- Echocardiographic guidance of tricuspid and pulmonary valve procedures
- Implementation of right heart echocardiographic endpoints in clinical trials
- Artificial intelligence and computer modeling to assess the right heart
- Pediatric, vascular, and critical care monitoring
In line with our core values at JASE, we welcome multi-disciplinary collaborations (e.g., sonographers, nurses, physicians, scientists).
Submissions are due in JASE Editorial Manager by August 1. Please note in your cover letter that the submission is for the Right Heart Issue.
