ASE Database Transition FAQs

Important Notice: The ASE Portal will have limited access from Monday, September 9 through Wednesday, September 25. The ASE Portal will be completely down from September 26 through September 29, as we transition to a new association management system. The new system will be available at 10:00 AM ET on Monday, September 30.

The following FAQs will help you plan for the scheduled outage.

Can I access my ASE Portal?
The ASE Portal will be accessible with limited capabilities from Monday, September 9 through Wednesday, September 26. Members will be able to log in to the ASE Portal and have access to all ASE member benefits including the ASE Learning Hub, Online JASE, the Career Center, and Connect@ASE.

Profile updates, new account creation, and financial transactions will not be available during this time.

All services accessed through the ASE Portal will not be available from Thursday, September 26 through Sunday, September 29.

Why will the systems be down?
Given the complexity associated with consolidating and migrating data into a unified system, the longer timeline is necessary to ensure both data security and a seamless transition.

Will I need to do anything once the site comes back online on September 30?
Yes. Due to the association management system changing, all users visiting the ASE Portal as of September 30, 2024 (and beyond) will need to reset their password using the “Click here to reset your password” option on the log in page. We will send an email at 10:00 AM ET on Monday, September 30, to all users with instructions on how to access your account.

Can I make a donation to the ASE Foundation during this time?
No. Financial transactions will not be available in the ASE Portal from September 9 through September 29. The ASE Foundation Coffee Day Fundraiser starts September 29 and runs through October 5 and these donations can be made directly on the ASEF website.

Can I access JASE online?
Yes. JASE will still be available during the transition. Log in to the ASE Portal to access JASE. During the four days (September 26-29) when the portal is completely down, online JASE will be available directly by going to OnlineJASE.com.

Can I access ASE guidelines?
Yes. The ASE guidelines will still be accessible on the main ASE site at ASEcho.org/Guidelines.

Can I access the ASE Learning Hub and claim CME?
Yes and no. The ASE Learning Hub will be accessible from September 9 through September 25. The Learning Hub will be completely down September 26 through September 29. It will be back online on Monday, September 30. If you have specific questions about the ASE Learning Hub, please submit a Help Desk Ticket
