Hospital and Echo Lab CEU Programs
CEU’s for Hospital / Echocardiography Laboratories:
This program is designed for hospital cardiac ultrasound and cardiovascular laboratories who hold in-house meetings related to echocardiography. Virtual attendance at the live meeting is eligible for credit. The ASE CEU Program offers sonographer attendees up to 12 ASE contact hours per year from attending these meetings. NOTE: 1 contact hour is equivalent to 1.0 CEU credits.
NOTE: These programs do not offer AMA PRA Category 1 (CME) credits for physicians.
To be eligible for this program, laboratory meetings must be developed to enhance the knowledge, performance, or skills of attending clinicians and should directly relate to the professional responsibilities of the laboratory staff. The person submitting the application must be an ASE member in good standing with the Society.

CEUs For Local Societies:
ASE has the resources your local society needs! ASE partners with echocardiography societies to provide CEU credit for monthly educational meetings. ASE’s credits are accepted by both ARDMS and CCI towards registry requirements for sonographers. Under the guidelines set forth by this program, sonographer attendees will be eligible for up to 12 ASE contact hours per year from attendance at these meetings. The person submitting the application must be an ASE member in good standing with the Society.
