The American Society of Echocardiography is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The American Society of Echocardiography designates State-of-the-Art Echocardiography: Echo Southwest for a maximum of 38.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for attending both the Main Conference and Learning Lab and a maximum of 29.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for attending both the Main Conference and the Maintenance of Certification session. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
ASE designates the State-of-the-Art Echocardiography: Echo Southwest Learning Lab for maximum of 13 hours, the Maintenance of Certification session for 3.75 hours, and a maximum of 25.75 hours for the for the Main Conference. Attendees must be registered for the Learning Lab to claim full credit.

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn a up to 38.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
ARDMS, CCI, and Sonography Canada recognize ASE’s certificates and have agreed to honor the credit hours toward their registry requirements for sonographers.
